Novaflame's Story
Novaflame started as a little ember in my heart.
It all started when I was a self-employed business consultant, helping others start up their dream businesses. Until one fateful day I remembered that free will exists. I could start my own dream business doing something that would truly set my heart aflame. Whatever I did, I knew it needed to be rooted in my lifelong love of stories and the escape many of us crave.
I love helping others build towards their dreams and wanted that joy to carry over to my next adventure, hence helping indie authors! I pictured a business that could act as a spark not just for my dream, but for other dreamers like me to grow.
It hasn’t been easy, but through the gritty determination I learned from our favourite MCs, I forged ahead and carved out the hours I needed to bring my dream into reality. By squeezing in laptop time during naps and late night moments while raising my little ones, I have been able to create the Novaflame you see today.
Novaflame is a combination of my love of reading, my passion for design and my appreciation of other independents like me. We create high quality special editions of amazing works, helping authors reach new audiences and readers who will show their stories the love they deserve.
Novaflame turns dreams into reality, and brings fantasy to life.
Choosing to work with independent authors through Novaflame was a no brainer. These hard working authors wear so many hats to do what they love and they deserve their stories to be loved and appreciated by as many readers as possible.
The next step was to find artists. These books need artwork that can truly transport us into our beloved stories. I work with artists from all over the world, a lot of whom do not get the appreciation they deserve. By featuring in Novaflame’s special edition books, I help their work reach a wider audience, and assist in growing their network. Not only do you get to see their art, but so do authors looking for new cover illustrators! In turn, they bring incredible stories to life in a tangible and breathtaking way.
Even my suppliers are small local businesses, each chosen for their passion to make a difference while supporting their families. The only exception is my print house which was chosen as it is the UK’s leading book printing service provider,whichensures the quality of the product you get delivered!
